Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer 1 assists in maintaining the production process flow and production line structure for design Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Operational Excellence. This role contributes to the operations by supporting production element mainly through Bill of Materials, Routers, and work instructions. This role also contributes to optimizing manufacturing resource usage through continuous improvement.
- Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year related experience in highly regulated engineering design or production environment.

Skills:
Basic understanding of ERP systems
Basic functional knowledge of CATIA V5 & Smarteam
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Other
Skills:
Experience working at an aircraft or other aerospace OEM
Knowledge of common materials and manufacturing processes used in the aerospace industry
Proven ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and models
Knowledge of LEAN tools
Basic organization and communication skills
Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally with significant oversight and review
Basic communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of primary processes like CNC machining, Layup and Crush Core
Some CAD experience
