Overview
Senior Travel Counselor - 180002OC. Carlson Wagonlit Travel Sato Travel (CWTSatoTravel) is seeking an experienced Travel Counselor for our Marysville, California onsite location. As a Travel Counselor, your mission will be to “Deliver the Perfect Trip” to sustain optimum results for our clients and for CWTSatoTravel.

Responsibilities- Delight travelers/travel arrangers and CWTSatoTravel clients.
- Arrange domestic and international travel for clients, including air, hotel, rail, and ground transportation.
- Be a trusted advisor by offering informed recommendations to provide the best traveler experience.
- Interact with travelers and travel arrangers by leading and listening conversations to provide first-level support for customer service and resolve simple problems.
- Build loyalty by enhancing the clients’ overall travel experience while meeting every travel management service requirement and expectation.
- Maintain favorable working relationships with other employees and foster a cooperative and harmonious climate.
- Embrace new technology and ways of working to promote flexibility to adjust quickly to shifting needs of the business.
- Possess a strong understanding of travel trends and industry best practices.
- Seek higher levels of performance continuously.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years travel counselor experience.
- Excellent industry knowledge and reservation skills to create domestic and international reservations (air, hotel, rail, ground transportation).
- Strong working knowledge of international pricing rules and procedures.
- Knowledge of ticketing procedures.
- Proficiency in a minimum of one CRS.
- Ability to meet and maintain required performance standards.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work varying shifts on a continuous basis based on business needs.
