COOP EHS Environmental Health Safety

Overview

EHS Co-Op will work directly with the safety team on safety projects and tasks. The goal for this co-op is to grow the incumbent’s knowledge of plant safety and expand knowledge on handling safety related items in a manufacturing facility.

• Aide in safety related projections and initiatives in the plant. Evening and weekend hours will be needed to help move these projects and initiatives forward.
• Actively participate in safety GEMBA walks and Safety Committee Meetings
• Help identify and fix possible safety issues on the manufacturing floor
• Continue to grow safety regulation knowledge
• Learn about conveyor belt manufacturing

Currently enrolled in an EHS related degree program
