We are looking for a talented Automotive Designer Engineer
You will lead the design and development of automotive plastic injection components, ensuring high-quality, manufacturable solutions following industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to define design specifications and support all stages of product development.
- Create and refine 2D/3D CAD models using Catia V5 / 3DExperience (V6), including surfacing, solid modeling, wireframes, and section views.
- Prepare, develop, and release Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
- Coordinate design reviews, including scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
- Participate in customer meetings and maintain effective communication with suppliers.
- Provide support for prototype builds and ensure timely delivery to the customer.
- Support APQP activities and maintain compliance with relevant standards (e.g., J-SOX, TS16949, ISO 14001).
- Prior experience working with Automotive OEMs is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience in plastic injection part design using 3D CAD tools is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
