Position 50% yard operations and 50% delivery once training is completed. Must possess a valid Class B CDL.

Truck drivers are responsible for providing excellent customer service while safely delivering goods to homeowners or professional job sites. Truck drivers must protect company assets, including trucks and forklifts, and always act in a safe and professional manner. Non‑CDL drivers primarily make deliveries to stores, loading and unloading trucks by hand or using a forklift.

• Unload material at destination using appropriate methods (hand, dump, or forklift) considering site characteristics, cargo type, available labor, and equipment.
• Develop thorough knowledge of vehicle and forklift operations used in the store.
• Maintain awareness of highways, roads, traffic patterns, and terrain in the local delivery region to maximize efficiency and safety.
• Assist with warehouse maintenance, cleanliness, and unloading incoming freight as needed.

• Complete daily and weekly maintenance checklists for safe operation and equipment longevity.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, speed/weight limits, and posted directions within the store.
• Ensure all equipment (ladders, forklifts, trucks) is in good condition and safe.
• Follow company safety guidelines and basic safety practices at all times.
• Participate in regular safety meetings with store associates.
• Secure delivered inventory against loss and theft (proper banding, strapping, tarps, drops, etc.).

Perform additional duties as assigned by the store manager or other qualified corporate representative.

• Must be able to lift and load merchandise up to 100 lbs for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift items above six feet, unload a delivery truck, climb a ladder, and maneuver safely in the warehouse and at job sites.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Class B CDL required.
