Job Summary

Responsible for assisting in the operation of assigned machine(s) ensuring product adheres to company standard of safety, quality, and throughput.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Support, demonstrate and promote Pregis’ core values: integrity, collaboration, customer focus and innovation.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules and regulations including all PPE requirements.
  • Perform housekeeping throughout the shift to ensure an orderly and safe environment.
  • Conduct physical and visual inspections of product to prevent non‑conforming goods.
  • Promptly report all quality defects to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain an appropriate level of production supplies/materials as required to ensure next shift personnel incur minimal downtime.
  • Continuously monitor machine operation to ensure accurate product measurements and quality are maintained.
  • Meet or exceed production rates, minimize waste levels and meet all customer requirements.
  • Main focus on the operation of downstream winder, ensuring that product is allocated properly (winding, rewinding, taping, bagging, and controlling assigned asset while product is moving into rolls).
  • Occasionally assist the operator with entering production reporting data into the machine computer accurately.
  • Separate scrap by color‑coding appropriately.
  • Operate core cutting machine, vacuum lift, and pallet jack.
  • Acquire knowledge/skills of a machine operator to better assist and troubleshoot when needed.
  • Attend meetings and complete safety сталкив trainings as required.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

  • Prior SAP or similar ERP system knowledge.

  • Exposure to moving equipment.
  • Inside work.
  • Heat may exceed 90°F.
  • Humidity may exceed 80%.
  • Noise may exceed 85 dB+.
Physical Characteristics
  • Frequent standing, stooping, squatting up to 75% of shift.
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional typing/keyboarding/preparing documents, voice‑assisted as needed.
Position Type
  • Full time.
  • Shift work (Continental Shift, 2‑Week Cycle, 12‑hour shifts).
  • Overtime expected per business demand.
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year manufacturing preferred.
