Assistant Operator – Hourly

Reports To: Production Shift Supervisor
Department: Lamination

Responsible for assisting in the operation of assigned converting machine(s) ensuring product adheres to company standard of safety, quality, and throughput.

• Big focus on product downstream, stacking plank and keeping count.
• Occasionally assisting Operator with entering production reporting data into machine computer accurately.
• Continuously monitor machine operation to ensure accurate product measurements and quality are maintained.
• Support, demonstrate, and promote Pregis’ core values: integrity, collaboration, customer focus, and innovation.
• Adhere to the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations including all PPE requirements.
• Housekeeping throughout assigned shift to ensure an orderly and safe environment.
• Conduct physical and visual inspection of product to prevent non‑conforming goods.
• Promptly report all quality defects to the appropriate team members and set aside non‑conforming goods for recycling.
• Maintain appropriate level of production supplies/materials 店 minimize downtime for the next shift.
• Meet or exceed sigui production rates, minimize waste levels,كانت satisfy all customer requirements.
• Separate scrap by color coding appropriately.
• بذفق acquire knowledge and skills of Machine Operator to better assist and troubleshoot when needed.
• Attend meetings and complete safety trainings as required.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

• Prior SAP or similar ERP system knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, follow standardized work instructions, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement culture.

• Occasional typing/keyboarding/preparing documents, voice‑assisted as needed.

• Shift work:
  Day Shift (continental schedule, 12‑hour shifts, 6AM-6PM)
• Overtime expected per business demand.

• Minimum 1 year manufacturing preferred.
