Network Administrator

Apply expertise in analytical, advisory, and technical analysis work to Air Force client activities. Maintain responsibility for ensuring the 24/7/365 continuity of classified and unclassified mission planning cell (MPC) networks. Support the operations and maintenance of a sophisticated multi‑domain command and control system and the design and deployment of new capabilities. Monitor, patch, and update workstations, servers, and virtual machines; design and deploy system upgrades and enhancements;

create and maintain system documentation; diagnose and solve system problems; and support users.

• 2+ years of experience as a network administrator
• Knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, and UNIX
• Knowledge of computing infrastructures
• Knowledge of hardware or software troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems
• Ability to work 24/7 shifts rotating between days, swings, and mids
• TS/SCI clearance
• High school diploma or GED
• DoD 8570 certification, including Security+ CE, SSCP, or GSEC certification

• Experience with scripting, programming, and coding
• Experience with Java or .NET programming and high‑performance computing (HPC)
• Experience in project leadership or project management in an IT domain
• Experience with license managers in a Windows or UNIX environment
• Experience with Windows Server administration, shell scripting, VMWare virtualization, Cisco networking equipment, network monitoring and logging tools, and thin or zero client solutions
• Knowledge of fundamental networking or distributed computing environment concepts
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Exchange, Lync, and Symantec Net Backup and Backup Exec
