Adjunct Economics Instructor

Yuba Community College District is accepting qualified applicants for temporary part‑time teaching assignments in the Economics department. Positions are filled on an ongoing basis based on departmental needs.

• Develop and deliver instructional lectures for up to 10 hours/week of Economics courses.
• Organize and teach all levels of Economics classes.
• Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning.
• Teach day, evening, and/or weekend assignments, including distance learning and accelerated courses.
• Assess Student Learning Outcomes each semester.
• Participate in department, division, and college initiatives and committees if desired.

• Master’s degree in Economics OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics AND
• Master’s in Business, Business Administration, Business Management, Business Education, Finance, or Political Science OR equivalent.

• Experience teaching Economics to community college students.
• Life or teaching experience demonstrating clear ability to teach Economics.
