College Instructional Support Specialist
This full-time position supports Yuba College’s instructional program by maintaining curriculum data, coordinating course catalogs, and providing technical training to staff. The role is performed under the direction of the Dean of Instruction and Learning Resources.
Responsibilities- Assure integrity of college class and course file databases; audit and update records to comply with District policies and state regulations.
- Maintain the college curriculum by coordinating document submissions, tracking approvals, and verifying compliance with state regulations.
- Provide training and technical assistance to administrative and instructional staff on curriculum and scheduling components of the District software system.
- Manage the college full-time equivalent (FTE) faculty data; analyze and allocate FTEs to instructional administrators as required.
- Coordinate adjunct faculty hiring procedures, including posting announcements, scheduling interviews, and processing hiring paperwork.
- Resolve room conflicts and coordinate campus classroom usage.
Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to an associate’s degree and two years of increasingly responsible experience in instructional administrative support.
Benefits and Logistics- 1.0 FTE (Full‑time employee)
- 20 paid holidays, including extended time off during winter break.
- 11 days accrued paid vacation per year (vacation accrual increases over time).
