Warehouse Inventory Cycle Counter 1st Shift

Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Inventory Clerk/Problem Solver in Port Deposit, Maryland.

• Hourly Pay $21.50 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  First Shift Wednesday 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Thursday-Saturday 6:00 am - 6:00 pm

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year or more previous warehouse experience
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
• Manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions
• Recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Work independently and as a member of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) – beginner level
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Safety‑sensitive position: depending on location, may be required to operate and be equipment certified

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary
• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
• Perform other duties as assigned
