Warehouse Cherry Picker Operator 1st Shift – Port Deposit, MD

Ryder is immediately hiring a permanent full-time Warehouse Associate to join the distribution and fulfillment team. Position details include base pay and shift information as listed below.

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production core Shift hours
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a diverse environment and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
• High level of initiative, thoroughness, and dependability
• Punctuality and good attendance record
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods and work using health and safety methods
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
