Position Overview:

• Pay: 60-73 cpm based on experience
• $1000 sign-on bonus (paid within 30 days of hire)
• Average Weekly Pay: $1,750; top earners can make up to $2,200
• Freight: 100% hand unloading at Family Dollar stores
• Unloading Pay: $250 for 48-53' trailers; $125 for pup trailers
• Doubles Pay: $35 per set
• Bonus: $125 weekly for completing three unloads
• Home time: Weekly home time for 34 hour reset
• Routes in: VA, NC, DC, PA, NJ, MD, DE, WV

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class A vehicle within designated routes
• Hand unload freight at designated locations
• Maintain communication with dispatch and adhere to schedules

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 months verifiable Class A experience within the last 3 years
• Must have a valid doubles endorsement
• No failed or refused DOT drug tests at any point in your career
• Cannot have been terminated for safety reasons from your last job (6-month waiting period with another carrier if applicable)
• No more than 1 DOT preventable accident in the last 3 years; maximum of 3 accidents/incidents in that timeframe
• No major moving violations in the last year; maximum of 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
• Employment history: no more than 4 jobs in the last year, 6 jobs in the last 2 years, or 8 jobs in the last 3 years
• Drivers living more than 50 miles from the distribution center must have secure parking available for the truck and trailer
• Must pass a drug test and have a clean MVR
