We are seeking an experienced Agile Developer to support the modernization of a legacy operational system into a microservices-based architecture using cutting-edge technologies. This role requires strong development skills, deep experience with AWS native services, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile team environment. The Work:

• Modernize legacy operational systems using a microservices-based architecture.

• Write Java Spring Boot microservice applications utilizing AWS native technologies.

• Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2, and S3.

• Build RESTful services with Spring capable of filtering and selecting complex data objects.

• Implement CI/CD principles utilizing Maven, Git Lab, and Git Ops.

• Participate in Agile development and iterative delivery of software.

• Communicate and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment and with stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

• An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI within the last 5 years).

• 12 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 10 years of relevant experience with a master’s degree.

• Experience working with AWS tool suite such as OSS, Dynamo

DB, Lambdas, and Cloud Watch. Required Skills (must meet at least
3):

• Java, Spring Boot, or Python

• Microservice architectures

• CI/CD tools: AWS tools, Maven, Git Lab, Git Ops, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible

• Database experience:
No

SQL / Mongo

DB / Dynamo

DB query and schema design

• OAuth/OIDC implementation experience

• Test frameworks and automation:
Cypress and Cucumber
