The Software Engineer will help to develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.

• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

• DoD Directive 8570 IAT Level 1 certification (Security+).
• LINUX, Configuration Management, JAVA Design Patterns, Project Planning.

$50,000 - $80,000

• High School or GED with 0-5 years of experience.
• Bachelors with 0 Years of experience.

$70,000 - $130,000

• High School or GED with 6-12 years of experience.
• Bachelors with 2-8 Years of experience.

$120,000 - $180,000

• High School or GED with 13-19 years of experience.
• Bachelors with 9-15 Years of experience.

$170,000 +

• High School or GED with 20+ years of experience.
• Bachelors with 15+ Years of experience.

$140,000 - $220,000

• High School or GED with 14 + years of experience.
• Bachelors with 10+ Years of experience.

Competitive salary commensurate with clearance levels, unique expertise, critical skill sets, experience and qualifications. Additional pay stipend will be considered for qualifying candidates. Refer to our RACTSOL LCAT list for all salary ranges.
