Principal Wireless Engineer - Hanover, MD

South Tek Resources is actively searching for a Principal Engineer experienced in a Product Design and Lead Architecture role performing wireless software development team leadership with an emphasis on embedded Object‑Oriented (OO) techniques.

An active Top Secret Security Clearance is required.

• The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of Software Defined Radio (SDR) components while leading a competent team of embedded software engineers
• Implement proof‑of‑concept ideas to improve wireless network operation or wireless security
• Gather spoken system / software requirements from customers and derive system / software / network specifications
• Document implementation conditions, configuration files and create product diagrams, and present to peers and superiors

• Minimum BSEE degree (MSEE Preferred) and 8 years of design experience including at least 3 years of team leadership experience is required.
• Strong experience with radio/wireless software Development
• Strong experience with RF (Radio Frequency) Development
• Strong C / C++, and Assembly languages Development
• Object‑Oriented, software Design/Development using CAE tools (preferably UML)
• Real‑Time Operating Systems and embedded processing applications experience required
