OPS Consulting is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to work in Hanover, MD. Responsibilities:
* Experience developing applications using programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, Python, and related scripting languages.
* Experience developing in Windows and UNIX operating environments.
* Implement Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Artifactory, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Jenkins and Bamboo.
* Recommend and evaluate new technologies and processes for complex projects
* Analyze user requirements to determine software design and performance specifications.
* Design and implement complex algorithms and database interfaces/queries.
* Manage the integration of legacy software systems, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
* Make recommendations for optimizing overall performance.
* Collaborate with cross functional teams, system engineers, and hardware engineers to define requirements and integration strategies.
* Experience leading teams, delegating tasks and monitoring performance. Requirements:
* Minimum fourteen (14) years experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
* Expert-level proficiency in one or more programming language (C, C++, C#, Java, Python).
* Strong experience in Windows and UNIX development.
* Deep knowledge of Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines and associated tools Security Clearance:
