At Intelliforce, you engineer the backbone of secure data access and interoperability across mission systems. You support a platform enabling compliant data storage and retrieval across diverse commercial off the shelf databases. The team delivers a platform agnostic Advanced Programming Interface built on modern Software as a Service principles. The result is scalable, containerized microservices supporting enterprise level data solutions across the mission.

You join a team responsible for full lifecycle software engineering, systems engineering, and Tier 2 and Tier 3 sustainment for all production systems supporting the ANSWER LAKE platform.

Telework. As approved
Schedule. Full time. 40 hours per week. Day shift
Clearance. Active Top Secret with SCI and Full Scope Polygraph required

Here’s What Your Day to Day Might Include

• Design, develop, and enhance microservices using Java and Spring.
• Deploy and operate containerized applications using Docker or containerd within Kubernetes environments.
• Develop and maintain secure APIs supporting data retrieval and management across commercial database platforms.
• Integrate, monitor, and sustain system observability solutions using Grafana and Prometheus.
• Use the Linux command line for configuration, troubleshooting, automation, and system analysis.
• Apply Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Collaborate with system engineers to support ANSWER LAKE platform operations and Tier 2 and Tier 3 sustainment.
• Troubleshoot software and infrastructure issues to ensure stability, performance, and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

Clearance. Active Top Secret with SCI and Full Scope Polygraph.
Citizenship. U.S. Citizen.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with 20 years of software engineering experience.
OR
24 years of relevant software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

Required Skills

• Experience using the Linux command line interface.
• Experience developing microservices using Java and Spring.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and containerd.
• Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
• Experience using system monitoring tools including Grafana and Prometheus.
• Experience using Git for version control.

Desired Skills

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery principles and tools such as Git Lab CI and ArgoCD.
• Experience with Open Search or Elasticsearch for data indexing and retrieval.
• Experience with NiFi for dataflow management and ingestion.
• Experience with the Amazon HCI platform.
• Strong debugging, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in an Agile development environment and on a multi disciplinary team.
