Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles.
Diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.
Maintain and repair small engines and powered equipment (sprayers, spreaders, blowers, etc.).
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and maintain service schedules.
Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
Coordinate with vendors for specialty repairs or parts ordering as needed.
Respond to field breakdowns when necessary to minimize downtime.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on mechanical experience
- Ability to complete paperwork and communicate effectively
- Competitive compensation: $25-35/hour based on experience
- Reliable work schedule:
Monday through Friday 8AM - 5PM - Full benefits package:
