Telecom Electrical Helper

Overview

Seeking a motivated Electrical Helper to support the installation and maintenance of telecom and electrical equipment. This includes new construction, upgrades, rip‑and‑replace projects, wireless infrastructure support, EV charging stations, and generator installation/maintenance. Ideal candidates understand basic electrical concepts and are eager to grow within a fast‑paced, expanding industry.

• Assist with installation of telecom and electrical systems in the field.
• Support Journeyman Electricians on daily tasks and project execution.
• Work on wireless infrastructure, EV charging stations, and related equipment.
• Perform conduit work, low‑voltage tasks, and basic circuitry troubleshooting.
• Participate in new builds, maintenance, and equipment replacement projects.
• Travel within the regional territory as needed, including occasional week‑long assignments.
• Report to the warehouse most mornings to ride out with project leads.

• Monday–Friday, typically 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (hours may vary by project).
• Occasional overtime (a few hours per week) and infrequent Saturday work.
• Travel within approximately a 100‑mile radius, with occasional extended trips.

• 1+ year of experience with AC/DC power and basic electrical balancing.
• Strong reliability, willingness to learn, and solid work ethic.
• Experience with conduit work, low‑voltage systems, and basic continuity testing.

• Positive attitude and eagerness to grow a long‑term career.
• Curiosity and willingness to ask questions to advance technical knowledge.
• Telecom or electrical background is a plus.

• Fast‑paced field and warehouse environment.
• Collaboration with multiple teams, including small cell, electrical, civil, and telecom crews.
• Exposure to a variety of projects supporting major wireless infrastructure.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
