Responsibilities
  • Perform furniture assembly and installation for various manufacturers and products, including tables, chairs, grills and home/office furniture.
  • Move furniture and lift up to 100 lbs as required.
  • Explain problems and solutions to customers; provide on-site problem solving.
  • Work with minimal supervision and manage job times and priorities.
  • Ensure professional communication with customers in English.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and friendly, customer-focused demeanor.
  • Work safely and use tools and equipment properly.
  • Be available to work Monday through Sunday, including overtime, evenings and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (minimum) with experience assembling furniture.
  • 1 year minimum experience in installations and furniture assembly; 1 year experience assembling IKEA furniture; experience assembling office and home furniture.
  • Advanced experience using power tools (cordless drill, corded drill, hammer, screwdriver).
  • Reliable transportation to and from jobs; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be legally allowed to work in the USA.
  • Must have a professional appearance and good personality; ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Ability to move and lift up to 100 lbs; ability to stand/walk for long periods; ability to kneel, bend and squat as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to explain problems and solutions to customers; self-motivated with initiative.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision; supervisory experience a plus.
  • Pass background check and drug test; reliable to report to work as scheduled.
Compensation

Pay rate depending on experience: $12 - $15 per hour. Full-time and part-time positions available.
