• Repair and upkeep of trucks to maintain safe, effective operating condition to meet production and quality targets.
• Assist technicians or service personnel with technical support via phone/email or on job site.
• Communicate quickly and accurately with field personnel and dispatch.
• Ensure quality of repairs to minimize recall/duplicate work and maintain compliance with all governmental and company safety policies.
• Follow Human Resources policies and review shop tool requirements to improve efficiency.
• Report deficiencies to support the PM program and assist in its effectiveness.
• Participate in technical training with dealer/manufacturer and share knowledge with other mechanics.
• Coordinate with Field Services Dispatcher and parts personnel to ensure on‑time delivery of parts.
• Collaborate with Internal Department, Field Managers, Superintendents, and Field Mechanics.
• Keep open communication channels with vendors and manufacturers.
• Interpret computer database data to aid repair/replacement decisions.
• Work hourly with potential overtime and maintain required tools (industry standard tools not provided by the company).
• Maintain a clean and orderly service truck and stay within Hours of Service (HOS) regulations if applicable.
• Comply with Trimble/Telogis regulations and perform other job‑related duties as required.

• At least 1 year field experience with heavy construction machinery.
• High school diploma, GED, or trade school preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Comfortable with all components of heavy construction machinery: diesel engines, power transmissions, hydrostatic drives, hydraulics (open & closed circuit), electronic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for modern machinery.
• Capable of making repair decisions quickly and rationally.
• Knowledge of equipment operations: pipe work, dirt moving, concrete & asphalt paving.
• Ability to arrange schedules, recommend machinery for repair, and order parts.
• Basic OXY/Acetylene torch and basic Stick Welding 7018/6010 skills.
• Confidentiality with sensitive material and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to change.

• $25.00 – $32.00 (pay based on experience)
