Residential Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and related equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance, seasonal tune-ups, and safety inspections
• Accurately troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigerant issues
• Identify system deficiencies and clearly explain repair or replacement options to homeowners
• Recommend system improvements, repairs, and indoor air quality solutions as appropriate
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites in customers' homes
• Complete service documentation, job notes, and invoices accurately and timely
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and local codes
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally at all times
• Participate in on‑call rotation as required

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience (preferred)
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems
• Experience servicing gas furnaces, heat pumps, and split systems
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls efficiently
• Strong communication skills and customer‑facing professionalism
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions

• Journeyman or Master HVAC license
• Manufacturer certifications (Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Samsung, etc.)
• Sales or lead‑generation experience
