Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, VRF/VRV systems, ductless mini-splits, split systems, heat pumps, and gas/electric units
• Perform preventative maintenance and detailed system inspections
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control-related issues
• Work on inverter-driven and multi-zone systems, including manufacturer-specific VRF diagnostics
• Communicate system conditions, repair recommendations, and solutions clearly to customers and internal teams
• Complete service documentation, job notes, and time tracking accurately and timely
• Follow all company safety standards and procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation as required

• Minimum [3] years of commercial HVAC service experience
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration troubleshooting skills
• Proven experience with VRF and ductless mini-split systems preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Journeyman or Master HVAC license
• Manufacturer certifications (Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Samsung, etc.)
• Sales or lead-generation experience
