Lighting Maintenance Inc. (LMI) is looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Foreman to join our team. We want a hands-on leader who can run crews, solve problems in the field, and deliver top-tier lighting systems. If you have the skills to build and service Roadway, Commercial and Sport slighting systems from the ground up-and the drive to lead a winning crew-this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a crew of journeymen, operators, and helpers.
• Plan, schedule, and lay out all phases of lighting construction.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are on-site and ready ahead of schedule.
• Coordinate with general contractors, inspectors, and owners/end-users.
• Enforce safety standards, conduct inspections, and investigate incidents.
• Troubleshoot motors, controls, circuits, and related equipment.
• Review and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications.
• Supervise field operations-rigging, trenching, pole setting, and high-work installations (30-150 ft).
• Manage paperwork, reporting, and cost coding accurately.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in lighting & electrical construction
• Journeyman Electrician license and CDL strongly preferred.
• Strong crew leadership skills-able to motivate, direct, and hold teams accountable.
• Knowledge of NEC, construction standards, and safe work practices.
• Tech-savvy enough to handle Microsoft Office, email, and field reporting.
• Willingness to travel and stay out of town for projects.
• Strong physical capability: lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing poles/ladders, and performing overhead work.
• Requires personal tool belt
• Regular use of ladders, power tools, trenchers, and heavy equipment.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Overtime required as project demand dictates
• Travel required (per diem provided)

Location

• Projects across Maryland, DC, Virginia, Florida, and the Southeast.
• Based out of LMI's East Coast offices-on-site field leadership required.
• Travel to out-of-town sites is expected and supported.
