Are you ready to operate top‑tier cranes on exciting projects across industries like construction, oil & gas, power plants, and more? As a Crane Operator I, you’ll safely mobilize and operate Link Belt Cranes to pick, move, and place large objects with precision.
Responsibilities- Perform the day‑to‑day activities required by the customer and Operations Management and ensure that all required inspections, rig‑up / rig‑down, and emergency situations are resolved in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
- Control the rigging, lifting, moving, and positioning of loads on the crane.
- Observe and make certain that loads are safely attached and that weight loads and lifting capacities are within proper limits.
- Perform routine safety inspections and continuously inspect crane cables and hooks, replacing worn parts as needed.
- Can sit for prolonged periods of time, talk, hear, read, and write.
- Can walk/use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms, climb ladders and stairs, crawl, kneel, or lie down.
- Can lift and/or move up to 75 pounds unassisted.
- Can work in confined spaces.
- Will work extended hours and potential shift work.
- Can perform duties on‑site in all types of weather.
- Can breathe effectively while wearing a respirator.
- Will wear safety equipment per OSHA/MSHA requirements, including steel‑toed or metatarsal shoes, hard hat, lanyard, fire‑retardant clothing, protective eyewear, etc.
- Minimum of 0‑5 years of Crane Services experience or equivalent/relevant education and experience preferred.
- Proficiency with at least one Crane associated application (e.g., wireline, general construction, snubbing, etc.) preferred.
- Entry level to some experience in operation of various sizes of cranes.
- Class B CDL is required;
Class A CDL is preferred. - NCCCO certification or equivalent operator certification with an updated physical card.
