Responsible for carrying out the program of the Medical Center by maintaining a safe, secure condition in and around the hospital buildings and grounds, and protecting patients, employees, visitors, and their property.

• High School Graduate or G.E.D.

• One‑year prior experience in law enforcement, fire, or security‑related job preferred.
• Must be able to successfully undergo a comprehensive background and character investigation.
• Valid driver’s license and verification of insurability under Tidal Health automobile insurance plan.
• American Heart CPR certification.

• Eligible based on specific hours worked: at least 36 hours per pay period on a 12‑hour shift schedule or at least 37.5 hours for non‑12‑hour shift schedules, and part‑time members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only.
