Overview
The Non-Licensed Sales Assistant is responsible for managing sales processes, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports and presentations. It includes responding promptly to customer inquiries, assisting with orders, and ensuring high customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. The position also requires coordination with the sales team to organize meetings, prepare client proposals, and support promotional events.
ResponsibilitiesSales Administration & Documentation
- Assist in the preparation and processing of sales transactions, including order entry, billing, and required documentation.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized sales records, customer files, and databases.
- Prepare sales reports, metrics, and presentations as needed.
Customer Support & Communication
- Assist with sales-related correspondence, phone calls, and emails.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding customer sales and service challenges.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and timely follow-up.
Sales Team Support & Coordination
- Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Support sales representatives by preparing proposals, quotes, and client presentations.
- Assist in organizing and participating in sales meetings, promotional events, and trade shows.
Reporting, Analysis & Compliance
- Monitor sales metrics and assist in analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable industry regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Other Duties
- Work closely with departments such as marketing and deposit services to ensure seamless operations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned, ensuring accountability and alignment with organizational objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a sales support or administrative role is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
