Sales Associate, National Harbor

Lafayette 148’s Outlet Stores sell post‑season merchandise by providing clients with a tailored, elevated shopping experience. The Lafayette 148 Sales Associate represents the brand image and is responsible for establishing, maintaining and growing a client base to achieve sales goals. The Sales Associate provides expert product and wardrobe advice while delivering a memorable client experience.

• Establish and maintain deep connection with clients and drive repeat business to achieve sales goals
• Consistently deliver memorable in‑store experiences to all clients; plan client appointments to maximize results
• Inform clients on in‑store events and new product deliveries to enhance their experience and increase engagement
• Skillfully use multiple channels of technology to strengthen existing relationships and drive new client acquisition
• Possess a broad range of product knowledge across all categories of the brand and take initiative to stay informed to maximize selling potential
• Demonstrate the ability to address a client’s total wardrobe needs across all categories
• Inform clients on brand services to ensure they can enjoy all Lafayette 148 has to offer
• Always put the client first when resolving issues, exceeding expectations
• Support operational functions within the store, including opening/closing procedures, inventory, and daily revenue reporting
• Maintain merchandising and visual presentation standards

• 3+ years’ experience in a premium to luxury selling environment
• Existing client base/book preferred

• Strong customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills
• Proficiency in utilizing available technology
• Must be flexible and have the ability to work evenings, weekends and holiday schedules

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, climb stairs/ladders, and occasionally bend or kneel to access merchandise.

Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment; constant communication and visual focus required.

Occasionally lift, carry, or move merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 25 lbs.

Base Pay Range
The base pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00 hourly. Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, and location.
