Playa Bowls is New Jersey's Original Acai Shop, founded in 2014, and our mission is to bring superfruit bowls to the masses using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients while providing a fantastic in-store brand experience. What began as a pair of blenders, a patio table, and a fridge has flourished into a 300+ unit operator and franchisor of the leading fast casual restaurant concept.

Playa Bowls added more than 70+ locations in 2024 and are on target to add as many 90 new locations in 2025. Our continued rapid growth has created the opportunity for an individual who will help us with continuing to grow our brand!

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Team Member to join our team in Prince Frederick, MD in a "part-time role", with the opportunity to transition into a "Full-time" position based on performance and business needs. As a Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our business. Your main goal will be to assist customers with their needs and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* Ability to stand for extended periods of time

* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in fast food/restaurant

* Responsibilities:

* Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored assistance.

* Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register.

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom

* Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts.

* Ensure food quality by checking for consistency, flavour, and overall presentation

* Prepare ingredients and assemble bowls, smoothies, and other menu items with care and accuracy

* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and promote store initiatives.

Skills:

As a Team Member, you will use your excellent communication and customer service skills to provide exceptional service to our customers. You will also use your attention to detail and accuracy to ensure financial transactions are handled properly and products are displayed correctly. Additionally, you will use your organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Finally, you will use your ability to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure the smooth operation of our business.
