Job Description

Retail Parts Pro – professional sales position that supports advanced DIY functions, requiring store system expertise, automotive and parts knowledge, troubleshooting, and sourcing skills. Full‑time.

• Sell products (GSEG2) to DIY customers during visits and calls.
• Meet personal and store sales goals.
• Perform DIY services: battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain customer service and store appearance standards.
• Hold key holder duties: task assignment, safety, opening/closing.

• Assist inventory: truck put‑away, cycle counts, back‑stock.
• Cleanliness: floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services as above.

• Friendly communication.
• Locate & stock parts.
• Safety knowledge.
• Inventory system operation.
• Parts & automotive system knowledge.
• POS & parts lookup usage.
• Testing equipment proficiency.
• ASE P2 certified or equivalent.
• Advanced solutions and recommendations.
• Advanced parts lookup & sourcing.
• Advanced DIY selling skills.

• Automotive system diagnostic ability: engine/gr suspension, brakes, electronicsão, exhaust.
• English operational, Spanish a plus.
• Read safety rules, instructions, catalogs, manuals.
• Interpret written, oral, diagram instructions.
• Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic math and Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Availability nights, weekends.

3‑5 years automotive parts experience. Proven sales ability with customer transactions.

Valid driver’s license required. ASE certification preferred but not mandatory.

$18.15–$19.96 per hour (base). Rate/*! varies with location, experience, skills.
