Restaurant Host - Sports & Social - Part-Time

Compensation

USD $16.00/Hr.

Greets restaurant guests with a positive, friendly attitude. Ensures guests are seated in a timely manner and have a favorable dining experience. Handles phone calls, answers customers’ questions about the restaurant and menu, and assists restaurant staff when necessary.

• Greeting, welcoming and seating guests.
• Assigning wait staff to service guests in their sections.
• Answering phones, greeting customers, and tracking seat availability.
• Assisting wait/bar staff and bussing/re‑setting tables.
• Cleaning host area and entrance to the restaurant.
• Ensuring the safety and security of employees and customers.

• Upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude.
• Fluent and professional English communication.
• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player.

• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
• Customer service experience dealing directly with customers.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach while assisting guests.
• Use of stairs and elevators.
