Bayside Pool Attendant

Job Summary

Kent County Parks & Recreation is seeking Bayside Pool Attendants to assist with daily pool operations throughout the summer season. This role supports lifeguards with opening and closing duties, maintaining a clean and safe pool environment, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

• Assist lifeguards with opening and closing procedures.
• Reporting any damages or incidences to the Lifeguard.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, restrooms, and surrounding areas.
• Stocks supplies in restrooms and chemical room.
• Monitor pool areas to ensure safety and enforce facility rules.
• Provide excellent customer service to patrons.
• Assist with basic pool maintenance tasks as directed.

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• CPR, AED & First Aide certification required or willingness to complete in-house training.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to follow directions.

• Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds
• Light cleaning
• Sitting for extended periods of time
