Position Requirements
UPMC Hanover is accredited by The Joint Commission, including being a Certified Primary Stroke Center. In addition, UPMC Hanover has achieved the status of Blue Distinction Center for Maternity Care, and Get With the Guidelines Stroke Gold Plus. Case assignments are diverse, including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, ENT and ophthalmology. No cardiac or neuro cases. Limited pediatric cases.

ResponsibilitiesPre‑anesthesia assessment: obtains and/or verifies patient consent. Discusses anesthetic options and risks with the patient. Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition. Performance of clinical intervention as needed.
RequirementsCurrent license as a registered professional nurse. Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education. Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Hanover is a borough in York County, Pennsylvania, 19 miles southwest of York and 54 miles north‑northwest of Baltimore, Maryland, and is 5 miles north of the Mason‑Dixon line.
Salary: $231,504 – $257,712 annually. Sign‑on incentives (bonus with/without retention, training assistance, or loan repayment): $75K. 6–8 weeks PTO. Generous benefits package, including:
