Registered Nurse - Community Living Center

Location: Perry Point

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application.

The Geriatrics and Extended Care, Community Living Center (CLC) provides nursing care to post-acute rehabilitation residents. The nurse functions interdependently in carrying out the nursing process, nursing orders, policies, and procedures as they relate to the resident's plan of care. The nurse demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others. The nurse serves as a role model when functioning as a team leader or charge nurse under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or designee.

The nurse collaborates with other members of the interdisciplinary treatment team in planning, developing, and coordinating the care for the residents and their families. The position is accountable to the Nurse Manager.

Pay:
