FT Perioperative Staff Nurse
ASC Park Potomac is hiring a Perioperative Staff Nurse. The Staff Nurse provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Perioperative Staff Nurse will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
Pay Range
:
Min: $41.92 to Max: $54.57
Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities- Position and prepare patients for surgery and assist with intraoperative circulating duties as assigned.
- Assist the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal workflow during procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards throughout perioperative care.
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and physicians; respond to changing patient conditions as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
- A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator; 1–3 years in PreOP/PACU strongly preferred
- Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
- Current BLS, ALS and PALS
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient and demonstrate strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with staff, patients, and physicians
