Prince Frederick Surgery Center is looking for an experienced Circulating Registered Nurse to lead the Operating Room in patient care.

Prince Frederick Surgery Center is looking for an experienced Circulating Registered Nurse to lead the Operating Room in patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently lead the daily flow of the Operating Room
• Assess patient needs, prioritize, plan and direct care for each patient
• Complete documentation for patient chart, O.R. records, lab requisitions
• Direct proper care of instruments, supplies, sterilization and storage of equipment
• Perform sponge, needle and instrument counts and documentation
• Secure emergency equipment and supplies as needed

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree
• Active Maryland RN license
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• One year of current nursing experience as an O.R. Circulator minimum
• Experience with Circulating Orthopedics/Arthroplasty/Otolaryngology preferred

• No Weekends or Holiday Requirements!!
