SUMMARYThe Post Harvest Associate I is responsible for all aspects of plant processing from post‑harvest through packaging and labeling of the final product ready for customer sale as outlined by the Curio management team. The Associate will be trained in the use of equipment for trimming and packaging.
Please note: This position involves working with plant material, which may include exposure to pollen, allergens, and other plant‑related substances. Applicants with known plant allergies or sensitivities should consult a healthcare professional before applying.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Remove sugar leaves from medical cannabis using shears, scissors, etc.
- Weigh, package, label, and record/track medical cannabis for distribution by hand or using the Green Vault automated packaging machine.
- Take instructions and assist with tasks delegated by the Management Team.
- Work in a quick and efficient manner to meet daily goals.
- Maintain a culture of professionalism and service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure daily compliance with policies, including state compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
- Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non‑disclosure.
- Embrace a mindset of Extreme Ownership, taking full responsibility for contributions and driving positive outcomes.
- General knowledge of weights and measurements.
- Accountable to meet daily & weekly goals.
- Ability to multi‑task and maintain work consistency daily.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to use discretion and sound judgment under confidentiality.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to handle stress.
This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENTMust be 21 years old.
