Roles & Responsibilities
- Move materials using manual and motorized pallet jacks/walkies.
- Package final products per Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), maintaining accurate logs following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Set-up, operate, and clean production equipment (weighing scales, hand-filling equipment, Integrated Fill Lines, and Bagging equipment).
- Monitor meters, gauges, and displays for process parameters.
- Maintain accurate production records (operation/cleaning logs, batch history records, label reconciliation, work order information).
- Ensure the final product meets weight tolerance specifications.
- Use independent judgment for planning, performing, decision-making, troubleshooting, and problem-solving in operations.
- Maintain accurate and complete records and logs; use calibration equipment.
- Follow all BD and DCM safety policies and procedures.
- Work overtime as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging, and/or warehouse environment.
- Experience in running filling equipment, assembling, and disassembling machines for cleaning.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment including manual and motorized pallet jacks/walkies.
- Proficiency in packaging products according to SMP and SOP.
- Competence in following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Skills in setting up, operating, and cleaning production equipment.
- Ability to monitor process parameters and maintain accurate production records.
- Independent judgment and problem-solving abilities in set-up, operations, and processes.
- Ability to maintain accurate and complete records and logs.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting/handling during a 10-hour shift; 1-5 lbs.
- 70%; 5-25 lbs.
- 30%. - Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs 50% to 95% of the workday.
- Capable of passing the physical examination for forklift operations and respirator fit test.
- Forklift experience is very helpful.
