Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials and products.
- Maintain records of material movement and inventory.
- Follow SOPs and quality guidelines to complete routine tasks.
- Work under general to limited supervision to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Perform tasks involving walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, lifting, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, and grasping.
- Handle and manage materials and products according to prescribed steps and techniques.
- Operate in a metrics-driven environment and meet performance standards.
- Zero (0) to one (1) year of warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
- Experience in material handling, logistics, or manufacturing production.
- Basic skills in material handling and management.
- Ability to operate various material-moving equipment such as forklifts and power trucks.
- Effective communication skills for understanding and following instructions.
- Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents in English.
- Basic math skills for calculations.
- General computer skills for record-keeping and documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area.
- Ability to perform and operate in a metrics-driven environment.
- Ability to lift and move over 50 lbs and perform tasks that require physical effort.
- Obtain and maintain appropriate licenses/training/certifications as needed.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme weather conditions, and vibration.
- Ability to work in high, precarious places and exposure to fumes/airborne particles.
- Comfortable working in environments with moderate to loud noise levels.
