Job Overview
- Responsible for manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products.
- Operates production equipment.
- Weighs, measures and checks raw materials to ensure batches contain correct ingredients and quantities.
- Assists with in‑process testing to ensure batches meet specifications.
- Responsible for validating processes and equipment related to filtration, cleaning and sterilization.
- Responsible for the removal and disposal of waste chemicals, solvents and acids.
- Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves complex issues associated with scientific operations.
Position is a weekend D‑shift (Friday‑Sunday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) and requires overtime as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties- Responsible for manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products. Operates production equipment.
- Weighs, measures and checks raw materials to ensure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities.
- Assists with in‑process testing to ensure batches meet specifications.
- Responsible for validating processes and equipment that are directly related to filtration, cleaning and sterilization; responsible for the removal and disposal of waste chemicals, solvents and acids.
- Creates solutions, powders and liquids for batches to meet specifications.
- Provides training support for on‑boarding and new procedures.
- Provides support to the lead/supervisor when necessary.
- Provides continuous improvement recommendations and/or solutions to support overall operational efficiency.
- Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Must follow all BD housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Must follow all BD safety policies and procedures.
Minimum Education /Experience
- High school diploma with 2 years relevant experience in a regulated environment.
- Associate’s degree with a scientific degree and no experience is considered.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented.
- Strong time‑management skills.
- Ability to operate independently.
- Proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
BD prioritizes on‑site collaboration; most roles require a minimum of 4 days in‑office per week. Remote or field‑based positions have different workplace arrangements which will be indicated in the posting.

Salary Range$22.70 – $35.20 USD hourly
