Noble Recruiting is hiring an experienced Toolmaker for an established and welcoming manufacturing company in Brentwood, Essex
. This is a permanent, full-time, days-only Toolmaker job offering 40 guaranteed hours per week and a salary of £35,000 to £38,000 depending on experience (salary negotiation available).
This is a hands-on toolmaking and toolroom position focused on building, machining, maintaining and improving tools for both bespoke and batch production
.
- Tool building, toolmaking and assembly for bespoke and mass batch orders
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Machine mould tool components,
jigs and fixtures - Operate manual lathes, milling machines and grinders
- Produce components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Repair, maintain and improve mould tools to support production
- Proven UK Toolmaker experience using lathes, milling machines and surface grinders (recent experience essential)
- Injection mould tooling experience preferred
- Driving licence and own transport ideal due to location in Brentwood
