Description:

Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team as a Project Planner at our Lexington Park, Maryland facility. The Project Planner will performs the Make, Buy and / or Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. What You Will Be Doing
• Coordinates with warehouse and procurement personnel to maintains production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost.
• Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to ensure customer delivery requirements are met.
• Coordinates with manufacturing and Program Management to provide shop floor control on make parts. Produces, analyzes and maintains production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, provides timely status and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule.
• Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements.
• Maintains MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes and coordinates with Engineering and Change Board Rep to make the associated changes to the BOM.
• Performs ordering of materials to support production and customer support goals, tracks all orders with procurement through delivery.
• Produces all production traveler documentation.
• Assists program manager in tracking of financials. Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years experience in production operations planning

• Experience with project planning software

• 3 years experience with drawing (i.e., blue prints and designs) packages BOMs

• Proficient with MS Office products

• Experience with SAP
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
