Warehouse Material Handler – Ryder System, Inc.
Join us as a permanent full‑time Forklift Operator and Material Handler in Port Deposit, Maryland. In this role you will perform loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting, paperwork, and automated packing system support.

Compensation- Hourly Pay:
Up to $22.50 per hour! - Base Pay: $21.50 per hour
- Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour on third shift
- Schedule:
Wednesdays 12:00 am – 6:00 am, Thursday‑Saturday 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
- Weekly pay

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator's License, certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Team player, able to work within a diverse environment
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels, including peers, work groups, customers, supervisors
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Must be punctual with a good attendance record
- Performs work independently with minimal supervision
- Possesses a high degree of initiative
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
- Can lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Can stand for long periods of time
- Washes and follows health and safety methods
- Must be available for a flexible schedule on various shifts
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
- Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, loading and unloading of trucks
- Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hour of production
- Perform other duties as assigned
