To ensure the manufacture of quality finished feed through proper equipment operation, execute and maintain preventive maintenance schedule. Responsible for daily inspection of the feed mill and boiler room. Assist the plant manager with the operations budget. Maintain equipment records, plant diagrams, repair records, costs, and manuals.

• Personnel Management and Development: train and develop staff on equipment usage to reduce downtime and improve product quality.
• Run and manage the preventive maintenance system; manage CER and major repair projects; communicate with vendors and contractors; work closely with the mill team to find effective solutions; ensure quality repairs and team cohesion.
• Maintain and monitor maintenance and repair activities for the mill; gather input from managers and check with operators to produce a quality product.
• Analytics: create and maintain historical data files to isolate problem areas and support decision making.
• Create and promote a culture of safety.

• High School Diploma or GED; technical training in mechanics; computer skills.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience plus 2+ years of mechanical experience or feed mill experience; supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in 3-phase electrical systems and hydraulics.
