We are seeking a motivated and experienced Training & Development Specialist to lead onboarding and skill development for new hires across multiple roles, with a strong focus on sales professionals. This position is responsible for delivering engaging first-week training, providing in-person coaching, tracking trainee progress, and ensuring all training documentation and modules are completed accurately.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing people, improving performance, and creating a positive learning experience that sets employees up for success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead structured first-week onboarding programs for new hires
- Deliver engaging training sessions both in person and via Zoom when needed
- Provide in-store coaching and follow-up support to reinforce learning
- Track trainee progress through learning modules and performance milestones
- Maintain accurate administrative records of training completion and progress
- Partner with leadership to identify skill gaps and training opportunities
- Support development initiatives for additional positions beyond sales
- Help improve and maintain training materials, guides, and onboarding processes
- Prior sales experience strongly preferred
- Experience in training, onboarding, coaching, or employee development preferred
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and documentation ability
- Comfortable working onsite daily in Brandywine, MD
- Ability to travel to store locations as needed
