Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Training & Development Specialist to lead onboarding and skill development for new hires across multiple roles, with a strong focus on sales professionals. This position is responsible for delivering engaging first-week training, providing in-person coaching, tracking trainee progress, and ensuring all training documentation and modules are completed accurately.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing people, improving performance, and creating a positive learning experience that sets employees up for success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead structured first-week onboarding programs for new hires
  • Deliver engaging training sessions both in person and via Zoom when needed
  • Provide in-store coaching and follow-up support to reinforce learning
  • Track trainee progress through learning modules and performance milestones
  • Maintain accurate administrative records of training completion and progress
  • Partner with leadership to identify skill gaps and training opportunities
  • Support development initiatives for additional positions beyond sales
  • Help improve and maintain training materials, guides, and onboarding processes
Qualifications
  • Prior sales experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in training, onboarding, coaching, or employee development preferred
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and documentation ability
  • Comfortable working onsite daily in Brandywine, MD
  • Ability to travel to store locations as needed
