RequirementsMust have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months. If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months. Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.
Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, including holidays
Hours: 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Typically this position generally averages 40 hours a week. Work schedule is subject to change based upon production needs.
Pay: Starting pay - $18.00/hour
Position SummaryPosition Summary
- This position is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting poultry house belts; removing waste from poultry houses; maintaining and cleaning farm/belt equipment inside and outside of houses
- Education:
Must be able to read, write, and have simple math [addition, subtraction, multiplication and division] skills. - Must have good oral and written communication skills.
- Must have Valid Driver’s License, 1 year verifiable Driving experience with clean safety record
- Fork lift, Bobcat and tractor certified or able to obtain certification.
- Must be able to obtain respiratory certification per OSHA standards.
- Remove waste from belts inside houses; clean and disinfect poultry houses and all equipment (including vehicles/tractors) utilizing commercial pressure washer on wet/slick floor;
Repairs and maintains tractors, pressure washers, litter truck, trailers, and mechanical equipment (75%) - Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice, such as: farm cleanup such as garbage/litter/waste retrieval; (10%)
- Performs simple math as part of recording information according to instructions and Cobb (15%)
- The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.
