Senior Global Network Planner – BD Nogales Norte

This position reports to the Manager, Global Supply Planning. The planner is responsible for effective scheduling and inventory control for assigned product groups, including instruments and consumables. Responsibilities include master production scheduling, capacity management, safety stock maintenance, monthly supply planning meetings, process improvement, system expertise, global demand visibility, and liaison to cross‑functional leadership.

• Achieve Global Service Level for assigned product groups (Backorder, DIO, OTIF).
• Lead global supply consensus, own and drive the monthly consensus process.
• Drive MPS agreements, ensuring supply models match distribution, production plans and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with plant(s) to understand capacity, integrate updated production plans and propagate CTM.
• Monitor manufacturing performance versus plan and budget.
• Act as liaison for Regional Supply Planners on supply of DS‑produced items and OEM vendors.
• Make allocation decisions during short‑supply situations.
• Direct long‑term product supply shortage management and material propagation.
• Monitor Alert Monitors across the network.
• Partner with Global Demand Planning on product demands.
• Translate business, supply chain and inventory needs into actionable supply plans.
• Support go‑to‑market plans: stocking quantities, target inventory levels, lead product changes and launches.
• Drive replenishment model decisions and master data governance with Regional Supply Planner, Inventory Planner and Plant Planners.
• Champion best practice and continuous improvement across the network.
• Define manufacturing strategy aligned with practices for the product portfolio.

• 3–5 years of supply planning experience using an ERP system (SAP preferred).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong analytical and problem‑resolution skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Effective time management.
• Leadership ability to run cross‑functional meetings.

• BS/BA in Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred.
• 10 years of applicable experience may substitute for a BS/BA degree.

• APICS CPIM certification preferred.
