Location: Timonium

Offit Kurman, P.A., an AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking an experienced litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to support a busy litigation team based out of Timonium, MD. This role requires strong e-filing experience, extensive trial preparation skills, and the ability to manage multiple attorney calendars and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys
  • Manage complex, high-volume calendars including court dates, hearings, depositions, and deadlines
  • Prepare, draft, format, and proofread litigation documents under attorney supervision
  • Perform electronic filing in Maryland and/or Washington, DC courts; federal e-filing a plus
  • Create and maintain shell documents and templates (complaints, answers, discovery, interrogatories, responses)
  • Support extensive trial preparation, including trial binders, exhibits, and TOCs/TOAs
  • Coordinate new client and matter intake and maintain organized electronic and physical case files
  • Track deadlines and assist with case management to ensure compliance with court rules
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, courts, and external parties
  • Process expense reports, credit card reconciliations, and reimbursements
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to firm policies and ethical standards
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of legal administrative experience; litigation experience required
  • Demonstrated experience with MD and/or DC e-filing; federal filing a plus
  • Strong trial preparation and document production skills
  • Advanced calendaring experience supporting multiple busy attorneys
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
