Senior Paralegal - Business & Commercial Real Estate

Boutique law firm in Howard County, Maryland seeks a full-time transactional paralegal to assist with banking & finance, commercial real estate and general corporate matters. The successful candidate will have a positive, professional demeanor, excellent attention to detail and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a legal setting.

• Work experience of 3-5 years minimum in a law firm setting
• Hands-on experience drafting commercial loan documents, commercial leases, commercial real estate contracts, business formation documents and general corporate documents
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and projects at hand
• Proficiency with MS Office 365, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Responsible for client workflow process
• Drafting, editing, proof-reading commercial loan documents, commercial leases, commercial real estate contracts, business formation documents and general corporate documents
• Correspondence with clients and business colleagues
• Scanning and filing of electronic and paper-based documents in network environment and cloud storage
• Maintaining a proactive role in implementing firm-wide best practices
